Emily Clark, Editor-in-Chief
Emily Clark, a senior at John Adams High School, is thrilled to be returning to The Tower as this year’s official Editor-in-Chief. Emily aims to be a strong leader and help reform The Tower this year to shift its focus through expanding its media. She loves the newspaper very dearly and simply enjoys being in room 1831.
With only a year left of high school, she hopes to make the most of it by becoming an active member of the Adams community and pursuing her ambitions for her bright future. After high school, she’d like to attend college for UX design.
Emily is very academically driven, or what some may call a “major try-hard.” But she embraces the perfectionist in her and goes above and beyond for the simplest of things. She always strives to improve herself, and a big step she recently made was taking speech class to become a better leader.
Along with her academics, Emily is involved in the John Adams Volunteer Association (JAVA.) She also works as a social media manager for an Indiana-based newspaper, the Youth Environmental Press Team (YEPT.) She loves anything relating to journalism or graphic design. Other defining traits are her love of cats and rom-coms, plus her constant loathing of making left turns when driving. Emily cannot wait to share her creativity with The Tower and hopes to be the world’s “okay-est” Editor-in-Chief we’ve had yet!
