Pike Temple, Sports Editor
Pike Temple is a Senior at John Adams High School. He plays for the Adams Baseball Team and American Legion Post 151. Pike is diligent off the baseball field and in the classroom. He is an avid sports fan, and die-hard Green Bay Packers fanatic. Pike aspires to publish an article for a major news source, especially Sports Illustrated. Becoming a Green Bay Packers beat writer sounds appealing, however, his dream job is becoming a professional baseball player, preferably for the Kansas City Royals. Pike loves baseball and is entering his 12th year in the sport. He was also introduced to music at a very young age. Pike played the piano for eight years and the cello for five. He listens to music on a daily basis, two of his favorite artists are Luke Christopher and Mac Miller. His three greatest accomplishments so far are working during the summer, hiking the Bighorn Mountains, and hitting a grand slam. He enjoys playing pick-up soccer and basketball with his friends as well. His favorite food spot in South Bend is Five Guys. Pike’s sister Kinsey had this to say about her brother. “Pike has a surprising sense of humor and is very driven when it comes to things he is passionate about.” His brother Finn also had this to say. “He has a bright sports mind and is a thoughtful human being.” Pike plans to make the most of his senior year and last year as an Adams Eagle before graduating in the spring.
