Isaac Shrader, Reporter
Isaac Shrader, a junior at Adams, is a first-year reporter and very excited that he has the opportunity to write for the Tower. Since a young age, Isaac has always been interested in sports writing and wanted to jump on the opportunity of being a reporter as soon as possible. Isaac values honesty and creativity in his writing and wants to write pieces that grab the attention of a diverse mix of readers, as well as keep them on their toes. In addition to writing, Isaac participates in two school sports, tennis and swimming, and enjoys being involved and active in school events and clubs. A significant person in Isaac’s life would describe him as, “An easy-going, thoughtful person who is fun to be around and has a passion for creating.” Isaac’s proudest writing accomplishments were when he was given the opportunity to write a short story and had part of it published in a writing collection. In his swimming career, Isaac is very proud of dropping 15 seconds off of his best time in the 200 Individual Medley over the course of his sophomore season, as well as winning the sportsmanship award at the end of the season. Isaac also enjoys hiking, watching movies, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. In his hiking journey, he has hiked in several national parks, including to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Outside of school and sports, Isaac works as a lifeguard at a local pool, enjoying the opportunity to help his community. As a new addition to The Tower, Isaac hopes to share his unique creativity and passion with those around him!
