Ryan Downey, Managing Editor
Ryan Downey has done much in his time at Adams. Currently, the senior is a part of the John Adams football team, wrestling, orchestra, mock trial, National Honors Society and newspaper. While he spends a lot of his time participating in school clubs and sports, Downey keeps himself busy, even in his free time, as he is an actor at the South Bend Civic Theatre, a volunteer for “REAL Services” and has spent a ton of time learning to play a variety of instruments, as he is well known for being a guitarist. Downey has all of these extracurriculars under his belt, while, simultaneously, keeping himself on track in school to graduate with a full International Baccalaureate diploma.
Ryan is very involved in his school’s community. He created and has planned out Tower Rock. Tower Rock is an all music talent show that includes students and faculty to perform is the auditorium of Adams. Ryan frequently looks forward into the future and is planning to apply to Notre Dame University and Vanderbilt for college with either a business management or a law major.
