Donovan Go, Reporter
Donovan Go is a 16 year-old junior at John Adams High School. He was born in South Bend and raised here his whole life. Donovan’s biggest goal in life is to graduate and reach financial stability. Although this is his end goal, he has no clue as to what he wants to do in college or career-wise; he simply strives to enjoy himself throughout. This year, he hopes to write about his favorite musicians, contemporary art, and interesting movies. He also hopes to spread awareness about current events and bring light to problems overshadowed in the world as a whole and locally. Donovan has always been a very creative person and enjoys drawing, painting, listening to music, and watching movies in his free time. His favorite subjects in school are history and art and he currently is in the IB visual arts class at Adams. He is also an avid drum player and has been since the age of twelve. Donovan is on the John Adams varsity swim team and has swam with the team for three years. Although his love for swimming started when he was eight, he delights in swimming on the John Adams team with fellow classmates. His biggest accomplishments include: passing 10th grade pre-calc class and earning “most improved” in 8th grade band class. He is a friendly and easygoing individual. “Donovan can be funny even if he’s stupid,” says Donovan’s sister, Indiana Go. He is looking forward to working on The Tower and improving his writing skills and hopes to have a great year in the class.
