Charlie Barron, Reporter
If Charlie Barron could pick one word to describe himself, it would be “naturally gifted.” After a year-long hiatus from journalism, Charlie is back for his senior year at The Tower. Charlie has been interested in writing from a young age and joined The Tower his sophomore year. Much of his writing ends up being about films or the film industry, as that is his area of expertise. Whether it be shooting bizarre shorts with his friends or making new lists of movies on Letterboxd, Charlie finds that this area is what he loves. He hopes that after his time at Adams, he can go off to film school and see how that turns out for him. He isn’t quite sure exactly what role he wants to take yet but he keeps reassuring himself that he’ll figure it out one day. Charlie’s sister Lucy describes him as, “a ratbag, but still a cool dude”. Although he doesn’t bring it up much himself, his Mom is always quick to remember how in middle school Charlie placed first two years in a row in speech team in the humor category, unofficially making him Indiana’s funniest middle schooler. He has also worked on multiple film sets over the course of his high school career with fellow film students and one time with a professional crew. He considers these to be some of his best accomplishments so far. Before his bio wraps itself up, Charlie would like to take the opportunity to shout out his Batman short shorts, his dog Bear, and his own Letterboxd link (@bobajeypiddy hit him with that follow).
