Olivia Rosato, Reporter
Olivia Rosato is a sophomore at John Adams, as well as a first-year reporter for The Tower. She is hardworking and always interested in exploring new subjects. In her academic life, Olivia has received a Scholastic Gold Key for a short story, and was named valedictorian of her middle school. Her goal is to improve as a student and as a writer during her time at Adams and working for The Tower. At John Adams, she is involved in Model UN, JAVA, Quiz Bowl, French Club, and Student Government as treasurer for the class of 2025. She spends most of her time outside of school dancing with Southold Dance Theater, taking ballet classes six days a week and performing their full-length productions biannually. She has also performed a competitive solo at the Youth America Grand Prix dance competition in Indianapolis. In Olivia’s remaining free time, she likes learning Italian and relaxing with her family, especially her beagle, Champion. Her favorite thing to do is travel to Italy and the UK, where she enjoys visiting family, eating good food, and learning about new places. Her sister would describe Olivia as, “perseverant and ambitious in everything she does; you will not meet a harder worker.” Olivia looks forward to using journalism to educate others about new subjects and to discover new things for herself.
