Evan Whitt is a sophomore at John Adams High School and new to the Tower. He wasn’t expecting to become a part of the Tower but he is very excited to be a part of the sports team for the Tower. Family, friends, academics, and sports are most important to Evan. He is a part of two sports teams which are baseball, and cross country. Originally Evan wasn’t planning to run on the cross country team in high school but his friends talked him into it. Evan got called up to varsity during his freshman baseball season, lettered during his freshman cross country season, and received his first letter from a college, which are pretty big accomplishments to him. Evan hopes to play college baseball at Vanderbilt University when he gets to college and hopefully even play at the professional level. Evan plays baseball for the South Bend Cubs travel team and during his free time he is probably hanging out with his teammates who he describes as his family. He doesn’t have much free time outside of school as he has baseball tournaments around the midwest, but when he does he likes to hangout with friends, play video games, watch football, play baseball and basketball, and spend time with his family. His mother says, “he is a hard worker, has lots of determination, and is fun to be around.” No matter what ii is, he will never back down from anything and he will give 100% effort 100% of the time.
