Boom: Josh Jacobs

Jacobs had a season high day this past weekend against the Seahawks racking up 48.3 fantasy points. Jacobs ran all over the Seahawks for 229 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns on 33 attempts. On top of that, he also had 74 receiving yards on 6 receptions. Jacobs has had sort of a dry spell recently but this could be the start of another hot streak.

Bust: Christian McCaffery

The 49ers week 12 game definitely wasn’t McCaffery’s best outing as he only racked up 8.9 fantasy points which is only 0.7 more points than his season low. McCaffery faced a tough Saints defense and was dealing with knee irritation but also didn’t earn many carries. On a positive note, with his teammate Elijah Mitchell out for 6-8 weeks, McCaffrey should be getting a larger role warranting many more carries.

Boom: DK Metcalf

DK has only had two games this season where he has obtained over 20 points, this week being one of those games. DK got 20 points on the dot this past weekend in the Seahawk’s loss to the Raiders. He didn’t record  any touchdowns but he did lead the Seahawks in catches, targets, and yards. The Seahawk’s next matchup looks promising as they play a below average Rams defense.

Bust: Dalvin Cook

Cook just had a rough game this past weekend,  he was playing against the Patriots defense who has been elite against the run in recent games. Cook’s longest run was only 6 yards. Although some good news is that Cook tied his second-highest catch total of the season with 4. His next matchup doesn’t look too great either as he will be playing a tough Jets defense.

Boom: Justin Jefferson

Coming off of a bad week, Jefferson played a very good game this past weekend, collecting 29.34 fantasy points. Jefferson had a total of 139 receiving yards on 9 catches, and a touchdown. Jefferson will face a tough Jets defense in his next matchup, and will likely see a lot of Sauce Gardner, but he should still be a must start in all fantasy leagues.
