Week 14 Booms And Busts

Boom: Christian McCaffrey

No surprise that McCaffrey has had another good week, as he has had a recent stretch of having great games. This past week was looking a little scary for McCaffrey as he was facing the division leading Buccaneers. However, McCafery had a great week and led the 49’ers offense to a 35-7 win over Tom Brady and the Bucs. McCaffery should definitely be in everyones starting lineups as he plays against a weak Seattle defense next week.

Bust:  Saquan Barkley

Barkley had a below average week which is very uncommon for him, having a season low in rushing attempts with only 9 and only 28 rushing yards. Saquan was dealing with a neck injury which did limit him to not as many touches in the game. Luckily, Barkley is still projected to have a good game next week against the Commanders.

Boom: Jalen Hurts

It’s no surprise that Jalen Hurts had another amazing week, adding another blowout win to his already MVP caliber season. Hurts was very close to a season high in fantasy points, only getting three less than his season high. Hurts threw for 217 passing yards and 2 touchdowns against the Giants, and even had a rushing touchdown. Hurts should be a must start in every fantasy lineup, especially in his next game against the Bears who’s defense has struggled all season.

Bust: Ceedee Lamb

Coming into this past week’s matchup against the Texans, Lamb was projected to have a very good game. Unfortunately, the Texans were prepared for him. Thanks to extra attention from the Texans, Lamb didn’t receive as many passes as he usually does. Lamb made 5 out of 6 catches  and only had 33 receiving yards. Coming into his next matchup against the Jaguars, Lamb should have a good game as the Jags have allowed the third most receiving touchdowns to receivers this season.
