#1. Georgia Bulldogs (10-0)

The reigning national champions are the clear favorite at number 1. With their win over then number one ranked Tennessee two weeks ago, the champs reclaimed the number one spot. With a dominant defense and a strong run heavy offense, the Bulldogs are looking to win back to back College Football Champions this season.

#2. Michigan Wolverines (10-0)

The Wolverines have been dominant this season. With their unstoppable run game led by Heisman Candidate Blake Corum, the Wolverines are looking to return to the Big 10 Championship. The Wolverines beat #11 Penn State 41-17 them the #2 ranking.

#3. Ohio State Buckeyes (10-0)

The Buckeyes have had mixed success this season. Led by Junior Quarterback CJ Stroud, the Buckeyes have had some close games versus unranked opponents, but they have remained undefeated and beat 2 ranked teams by a combined 24 points. The Ohio State offense is still working out the kinks but the defense is playing outstanding.

#4. Tennessee Volunteers (9-1)

The Volunteers have dominated their schedule up until their matchup with Georgia. The Volunteers blew out #6 LSU 40-13, and also beat #7 Alabama 52-49, so despite losing to Georgia, Tennessee is still a top 4 team in the nation.

#5. TCU Horned Frogs (10-0)

Despite being undefeated, TCU is ranked number 5. The Horned Frogs are led by their unstoppable offense but their defense has underperformed this season. Despite beating a couple of ranked teams this season,  TCU is placed at #5.

#6. LSU Tigers (8-2)

In his first season as the Tigers head coach, Brian Kelly has restored the program to the top level. After beating #7 Alabama in overtime, LSU is back in the top 10. With an ecstatic offense and a tough defense, the Tigers could make a push into the College Football Playoff.

#7. Alabama Crimson Tide (8-2)

With loses to both #6 LSU and #4 Tennessee, Alabama has struggled in big games this season. With reigning Heisman winner QB Bryce Young leading the way, the Crimson Time are looking to bounce back and make a last push for the College Football Playoff.

#8. USC Trojans (9-1)

The Trojans are the most questionable team in the Top 10. The Trojans have dominated this season but their competition has proven to be not as great. The Trojans are 9-1, giving them a strong case for top ten consideration.

#9. Oregon Ducks (8-2)

The Ducks have played well this season, besides their blowout loss to #1 Georgia in Week 1 and their most recent loss against Washington, the Ducks have played well and competed in every game. Led by Heisman Candidate QB Bo Nix, the Ducks offense has been stellar through the air. The defense has been strong as well, creating an overall very balanced team worthy of being #9 in the nation.

#10. Clemson Tigers (9-1)

The Tigers have been in close matches most of this season regardless of the level of competition. The biggest storyline from this team is the QB controversy between DJ Uiagalelei and Cade Klubnik. After surviving Syracuse and suffering a crushing defeat by Notre Dame, Clemson finds themselves in need of some big wins if they want to secure a spot in the College Football Playoff.
