Top 10 Oscar Red Carpet Looks

Oriane Dancler, Reporter

The Oscars are a pivotal moment in any actor/actresses’ career. They wait their whole lives to be nominated for this award or only even wait for the chance to be invited. The Oscar Red Carpet can showcase some stunning or scandalous fashion choices. I am going to be ranking my top ten favorite looks from the 2022 Oscars in no particular order.

  1. Emilia Jones

Emilia Jones stepped out in a gorgeous maxi dress for the 2022 Oscars. She followed the Oscars trend this year by showing a little skin with her dress having a cut-out on her stomach. The maxi was a tight dress with a little breathing room with silver on top that turned into a pretty gold color at the bottom. Dolce & Gabbana designed this dress.

  2. Megan Thee Stallion

Megan showed up for her first ever Oscar Red Carpet this year. She was wearing a light blue strapless gown with a cut-out on her stomach as well as ruffle trim completing the look on the bottom. This dress was designed by Indian couturier Gaurav Gupta

3. Rachel Zegler

For getting a last-minute invite, Rachel came like she had been preparing for months. She wore a simple sheer black gown with diamond patterns that was designed by Dior. She made the look complete by adding a layered gold choker.

  4. Billie Eilish

Billie’s aesthetic never changes and she always stays true to who she is no matter the setting. She was seen wearing a multi layered black gown designed by Gucci, complete with Fred Leighton jewelry.

  5. Zoe Kravitz

A good word to describe Zoe’s look would be simple and spicy. She was seen wearing a pink strapless dress designed by Saint Laurent with a large bow. Her diamond choker also gave her outfit a bold twist.

 6.Timothée Chalamet

Once named the best dressed man of 2019, Timothee still lives up to his name. This year, he wore a cropped black sequin jacket with no undershirt and paired it with black pants. It sounds simple compared to his other outfits, but it was a powerful fashion statement. Louis Vuitton designed this look.

  7. Serena Williams

Serena never fails to impress with her Red Carpet looks; this year was no different. She was seen wearing a pink sheer Gucci gown with shoulder pads and a black floral pattern on the dress as well. She wore matching black lace gloves and rings on top of them to complete the look.

  8. Aunjanue Ellis
Her fiery-orange Versace gown with one strap and a flared out trim at the bottom was absolutely gorgeous. Aunjanue fashioned Irene Neuwirth jewelry and striking green nails.

  9. Lily James

Lily was seen wearing a pink Versace sheer gown with a floral pattern that had a thigh slit. She also was wearing a silver necklace and matching heeled sandals. She went for a girly look, complete with lace and embroidered flowers along with a pink chiffon train.

   10. Zendaya
Zendaya goes above and beyond to make sure her Red Carpet looks are perfect for the occasion. She was seen wearing a two-piece set with a white cropped button up shirt and a long sequin silver skirt that was designed by Valentino
