Zoie Verstraete, Reporter
Zoie Verstraete is a talkative and bubbly senior at John Adams High School, who is really excited to join The Tower because they have been writing ever since she could remember. She is looking forward to spreading her positive outlook while writing about self love, fashion, and relationships.. She is still thinking about her life plan after Adams, which is between being a criminal defense lawyer or an author of romantic novels. They are also excited about getting their own place soon after graduating from Adams.
If Zoie isn’t in class or at her job at Blondie's Cookies, you can probably find them at your local thrift store. Zoie is super passionate for fashion and you can definitely spot her many shopping excursions, where they probably just spent all their money. Zoie’s big on self-improvement because they love when they can see how much she’s changed in little time. When they are stressed, she enjoys meditating and journaling their recent feelings so she can look back and reflect.
Zoie is often described as kind and empathetic; she’s able to step in others' shoes and see each point of view and give benefit of the doubt. If you have good vibes she can probably talk about the smallest things with you for hours. One of Zoie’s longest commitments is being a vegetarian for three years. She pretty much lives off fruit, even kiwis, which she found out she’s allergic to and still eats. Zoie is very excited to bring her sparkle to The Tower.
