Alexa Steffen, Reporter
Alexa Steffen, a junior at John Adams, is very excited for her first year being a reporter for The Tower. She joined the newspaper because she loves to write. Alexa is excited about the opportunity to write about the things that interest her and hopes that The Tower’s readers are interested in those topics as well.
Alexa loves nothing more than to relax with a good book and a cup of iced coffee. She has no idea what her favorite book is because she has read too many of them to choose. Alexa is proud of the fact that she can play the piano and the guitar. She hopes to get better at playing both of these instruments since playing them is one of her favorite things to do. Alexa is not a fan of sports or exercise, however, riding her bike is something that she’ll gladly do on any nice day. Alexa has three sisters that she loves spending time with (like Jo from Little Women).
Some of Alexa’s academic goals are to develop her writing skills through writing for the newspaper and to do well in her IB classes. She plans on going to college after high school but she doesn't know what she wants to major in quite yet. However, she is very excited by all of the different possibilities. Alexa generally has a positive and bright outlook on the future. She is always looking forward to seeing what is next. She may seem shy to some people, but once she starts talking, it is impossible to get her to stop!
