The Girls and Boys Cross Country teams competed at the IHSAA Regional meet this past Saturday, October 13th at Oxbow Park in Elkhart. Although they did not advance as a team from the Sectional competition on Saturday, October 6th, five girls and seven boys advanced as individuals to compete the following week.

Regionals proved to be a successful meet for the Eagles, as many of the runners ran personal records [PRs]. Three also advanced as individuals to compete in the Semi-State meet on October 20th at New Haven.

Junior Maddie Mischak ran 20-second a PR of a time of 20:01, placing twelfth overall. Ivie Skube, sophomore, similarly ran a PR of 20:54. William Neubauer, also a sophomore, PR-ed by one second, running 17:03 and placing sixteenth. All three will continue training throughout the week to prepare for Semi-State this weekend.
