Nya Brown, a current senior at John Adams, is going into her second year as a writer for The Tower. Nya looks forward to continuing writing about music and cinematics but also incorporating more interviews with other students and staff. After high school, she intends to pursue her passion of theater, hopefully overseas. Her favorite subjects throughout high school have been Newspaper, Film, and Sociology. Creating videos and talking to people is one of Nya’s favorite things about being in The Tower. 

Nya is going on her fourth year of being a member of the JA Show Choir. Throughout her time at Adams, she has participated in multiple extracurricular activities such as band, drama club, and the bowling team. Nya has been a competitive bowler for eight years and has learned to play four instruments. Nya has been participating in theater since sixth grade and absolutely fell in love with the art form since the start. When not doing one of the aforementioned activities, you can find Nya hanging out with the ones closest to her. She also really enjoys listening to all genres of music, but her favorites are alternative and hip-hop. Nya’s goals for the year and future are graduating and getting into a good college. She also plans to travel wherever and whenever she can. Another goal of hers is to have stacks taller than Mount Rushmore, or at least enough to live comfortably. 

Nya is a free spirit who adores having fun. She is down to do anything at all times and is always there when you need a good laugh or need to talk about anything, especially Spider-Man. Her biggest aspirations are to perform on a Broadway stage one day or meet Jack Harlow. Nya is thrilled to see what this year with The Tower brings!
