Isabel Scope is a senior at John Adams High School, who is both excited to begin her journey as a writer for The Tower as well as slowly close out her time as a high-schooler. After years of traveling with her family, Isabel discovered her love for not only the lively cities she visited, but the buzzing airports that got her there as well. With such an admiration for the aviation industry, Isabel plans to pursue a degree and career in it once she graduates. Another age-old dream of hers is to live in The Windy City one day. Nothing would make her happier than to settle down in a historic townhouse on the outskirts of downtown Chicago–one decorated with warm antique lamps, bouquets on every surface, and walls filled with love, laughter and memories.

Beyond her love for aviation, Isabel carries a deep admiration for Beyoncé, whose artistry has been a constant source of joy, empowerment and passion in her life. Isabel believes she could spend hours defending the Queen’s honor, as well as reminiscing about the two best nights of her life: her evenings at the Renaissance World Tour in 2023 and the Cowboy Carter Tour in 2025. Her love for music extends far beyond a single artist however, and Isabel considers music one of her most favorite pastimes in the world. Isabel loves nothing more than curling up in her cozy bed, putting her headphones on, listening to an artist’s entire discography, then categorizing it into all of her playlists. Oh, and maybe a little bit of Pinterest in between. 

As Isabel joins The Tower, she most looks forward to writing about these interests, as well as the topics she feels passionately about, whether it’s music, current events or just the simple but beautiful lives of her peers at Adams.
