John Adams is welcoming their newest senior member to The Tower, Adrian Douglas. This is
her first year being a writer with The Tower. Since this is her last year at Adams, she wanted to
“try something new”. She is excited to expand her writing skills and learn about The Tower and
how it works .She would like to write about sports and senior events going on for the school.
After graduation she plans to go to college and eventually live out her dreams. She would like to
start her college career in Indiana and eventually move to Michigan, or anywhere that’s not
South Bend.

You can usually find Adrian hanging with friends, reading a book, taking a nap, or even
eating Panera. Her extracurricular of choice is the Adams swim team but she’s looking for more.
She has a part time job as a hostess at a popular place in South Bend, IN. She wants to join all
the clubs she can and wants to be manager of some type of sport team here at Adams. She
also enjoys binge watching Netflix and hanging with her family, most notably her dog, Max.
Adrian says she’s always loved writing and it always came naturally to her, especially
when it comes to free or creative writing. She also is outstanding at karaoke, something you can
find her doing at least once a week. During the school year, she loves to attend Adams football
games. She’s good at balancing her busy life working, going to school and doing a sport. She is
also into animals and likes to watch National Geographic documentaries about them.
Sometimes if you look really closely, you’ll see her doodling on her papers which she also really
enjoys.
