“Todos Juntos” at Sabor Latino
Come out and join in Sabor Latino here at Adams! This Thursday, April 18th John Adams is holding their annual Sabor Latino event filled with dancing and latin music, along with latin dancing lessons. Each year the Spanish club, sponsored by Mrs. Stanton, creates a theme for the event, designs t-shirts and makes decorations. This year’s theme is “todos juntos” (all together). Not only does Sabor Latino allow celebration of latin american music, dance, and culture, but it also helps raise money for students traveling abroad through IUHPFL (Indiana University Honors Program in Foreign Languages). If anyone is interested in Latin music and dancing or wants to support students of IUHPFL, the event will be held this Thursday from 8-11 pm and tickets will sell for $7 at door 20. After weeks of preparation, Mrs. Stanton and the spanish club are looking forward to seeing students and friends thursday night!
