Bly Alexander Johnson, a 17 year old senior at John Adams High School, has received lots of credit and notice for his hard work and dedication to athletics. Johnson is a member of the Eagles hockey team and the South Bend Bears lacrosse team and has played hockey his entire life and fell in love with the competitive aspect of the sports.
His freshman year, Johnson got recommended to try lacrosse. At first, he was hesitant, but decided to give it a try. It took time, hard work , and dedication over the past 3 years for Johnson to improve in a sport he’s only been playing for a few years. It wasn’t until last school year that Johnson finally got the credit he deserved for his commitment to the sports; On April 18, 2024, he was interviewed by local news channel, WSBT, for his attributions on the lacrosse team. Johnson led his team with a total of thirty-nine goals and twenty-five assists, and the team went on to win the state championship.
We are yet to see Bly Johnson’s stats for hockey, as hockey season has just begun. According to an inside source, Johnson has already an assist for this year’s hockey season records. Despite the hockey season beginning, Johnson is still training hard and preparing for the 2024- 2025 lacrosse season. Johnson explained that during the off season, he participated in a numerous amount of rigorous workouts and camps to sharpen his skills. He has also stated he loves to practice his lacrosse skills on his own in his backyard, to keep himself in check and fit. Johnson stated a few days ago that he achieved a squat of three hundred ten for six reps, which is really impressive for someone his age.
On October 7, Johnson committed to Muskingum University for lacrosse. Johnson wants to thank family, friends, and coaches for supporting him throughout his life and can’t wait to see what’s to come for both his hockey and lacrosse career. So far, this year is looking up for Bly Johnson and he wants to personally thank his coaches, family, and friends for always pushing him to be better than the day before, and supporting him through his life, on and off the ice and field.
