The Tower

Samuel Villagra-Stanton
Samuel Villagra-Stanton, to put it simply, is a huge nerd. He loves everything that has to do with film, comic books, video games, science, as well as almost every form of media. He is 15 years old and currently a sophomore at John Adams High School. He was born in a small town in the southern hemisphere called Linares, located in the unique and remote country of Chile. He moved to the United States when he was about two months old with his mother, who was attending Notre Dame at the time. For Elementary school, he attended Kennedy Primary Academy, then Stanley Clark for middle school. Freshman year at Adams was great! So far, he has been involved in Mock Trial, Spanish Club, Science Olympiad, Cross Country, and now Drama Club. The clubs and classes here allow him to fill the opportunistic niche of the activities and hobbies he loves to do, whether it be acting, drawing, or writing. As far as acting, he has been in several plays and even a commercial. It’s something that allows him to express himself through different characters, and he absolutely loves it. Drawing allows him to vent and release stress, and he feels that he has become better over the years. He likes to draw anything, from still lifes to comic book superheroes and villains.  He finds writing to be a great way to get away from reality, or another way to express it. Sam hopes that the readers enjoy what he writes throughout the year. He can’t wait to see where this year will go, as well as all of his peers as the highlights of this school and the world are documented. Go Eagles!
