St. Margaret’s House 20th Annual WinterWalk is NEXT Sunday, the 17th @ 2pm @ the County City Building. Registrations and Donations can be done at or stop by Mr. Wilson’s Room (2206).

2/1/19 – 2/8/19

As we return from our three day “Polar Vortex” break, JA Eagles’ Athletic teams return to action this weekend. Tonight, Girls Swimming and Diving Sectional begins at Mishawaka HS as does the Girls’ Basketball Sectional. The Lady Eagles will play the second game tonight at MHS vs. St Joe High School at approximately 7pm.

The JA Wrestling team will be action in the regional round of the state tournament at Penn HS. The Boys’ basketball team will play tomorrow afternoon at home vs Michigan City HS.

Upcoming Meetings:

There will be a meeting for any girl interested in playing Tennis this Spring on Thursday, February 7th in the LGI at 4:15. Coach Strafford will be distributing important information for the upcoming season. Any questions, see Coach Stafford.

There will be a Baseball meeting in the LGI at 8:40 AM on Monday, February 4th for those interested in baseball for the 2019 season.

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month! Over 53% of all students in at least one CTE course for the 2018-2019 School year! CTE can provide for a valuable career option for those students who not interested in a two or four year education program immediately after high school. Many career opportunities involving CTE areas are presently unfilled and looking for qualified candidates!

JA Counselors (@JAGuidanceNews) will begin scheduling students for classes for next year during the next few weeks. Please ask your counselor about CTE options available at your grade level.

Rescheduled Events:

Boys Freshman Basketball game (originally scheduled for last night (1/31) will be rescheduled for a date that has yet to be determined.

The Boys JV & Varsity basketball games vs. John Glenn HS that were originally scheduled for 1/31 have been rescheduled for Thursday, February 7th at John Glenn HS.
