As the nightmare that is Michael Myers comes to an end, fans are thrilled to see how it will inevitably end. Every fan of the Halloween franchise has been anxiously awaiting this movie’s arrival. There are a few minor spoilers ahead, so proceed with caution!

The movie is set in Haddonfield in 2019 and the town has found itself falling into evil, there are many murders and suicides going on around town. The last movie seems to feel more like the first movie in a sense of the backstory. This movie has a little less gore and killing, and more backstory. Overall, the movie sticks to the same characters fans know and love, except for one new major character, Cory. Without spoiling too much I will say that Cory, one of the main characters in the new movie, is how we discover where Michael Myers was all those years. As most of the people in town thought he disappeared, so this becomes the climax of the movie. 

Throughout the movie we see Cory and Allyson form a romantic relationship to which Laurie is completely opposed to. What’s ironic about this is that Laurie is the one who introduced Cory and Allyson, although she slowly starts to realize due to his past and his current behaviors that he’s bad news. As not long before Cory met Allyson he had a fatal accident with the boy he was babysitting at the time. As others start to notice a change in him, Allyson is oblivious. Eventually, Cory opens the gate to Michael Myers’ return. 

To clear things up, this is the actual end. After 13 amazing movies, and the beloved characters that keep fans coming back to the franchise, it has come to an end.

In my opinion, the last movie was phenomenal. It was more like the original movie, it has more backstory and events leading up to the eventual climax. I personally think Halloween Ends was a great movie and a perfect ending to the movie series. The movie was amazing and I would suggest it to anyone!
